Join us for this fun sterling silver, brass or copper earrings workshop! Many sizes and styles to create one-of-a-kind pair of earrings. The photo is an example of the possibilities!
This workshop introduces the maker to texture plates and a rolling mill for unique texture designs, pancake dies and an electric 20 ton hydraulic press for cutting your chosen style and size, forming to create a gentle curve, and attachment to earwires. Finishing techniques will include filing and using a Jool Tool for smooth metal edges, patina, buffing, and more.
This 2 hour and 15 minute workshop is Artisan-led with a instruction fee of $40.00 to be paid at the time of reservation here on our website. A makerspace and materials kit fee of $20 - $0 plus sales tax is payable upon arrival the day of class. This price varies with your choice of metal.
Please wear closed toed shoes, keep long hair away from face, no loose sleeves and bring eyewear needed for close up work if necessary to see. We provide protective eyewear if needed. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the workshop start time.
Your earrings texture and shape will vary from the photo depending on the pattern and shape you choose. We offer over 100 choices patterns and over 90 shapes to choose from.
