This is an introduction to stone setting and sterling silver wire manipulation. The maker will learn to shape, texture, and notch a hefty gauge length of wire using a flex shaft, Jool Tool, planishing hammer, and bracelet mandrel, create a nail head with a disk cutter, solder the nail head and pre-made bezel to the wire with a handheld butane torch, set the 5mm turquoise (other stones to choose from) cabochon with specialty hand setting tools. Finishing techniques include patina, buffing, JoolTool, etc.

This 3.5 hour workshop is Artisan led with a fee of $40 plus materials kit fee of $35 plus sales tax.

The workshop fee is paid a the time of online reservation and the materials kit fee is paid upon your arrival the day of the workshop.

Please wear closed toed shoes, keep long hair away from your face, bring eyewear for close-up work if necessary. We provide protective eyewear. Please arrive 15 prior to the workshop start time.

Your stone color and type may vary from the photo depending on which you choose from the variety we offer on the day of class.
