Three Piece Workshop - Instruction Fee

Join us for an engaging 3 piece workshop! Make three items using copper, brass, sterling silver wire, and a strip of silver for one embellishment. Many sizes and styles to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
This beginner workshop introduces the maker to a professional shear for cutting your desired cuff shape, texture plates and a rolling mill for unique texture designs, pancake dies and an electric 20 ton hydraulic press for cutting a ring, riveting for cold connections, cutting and shaping a cigar band ring to size, shaping wire and hammering for one pair of pierced earrings, and annealing to prepare your pieces for texturing and forming with various tools. Finishing techniques will include filing and using a Jool Tool for smooth metal edges, patina, buffing, and more.
This 5 hour workshop is Artisan led with a instruction fee of $95.00 to be paid at the time of reservation here on our website. A makerspace and materials kit fee of $50 plus sales tax is payable upon arrival the day of class. If you upgrade metals to silver there will be an upcharge.
Wear closed toed shoes, keep long hair away from face, no loose sleeves and bring eyewear needed for close up work if necessary to see. We provide protective eyewear if needed. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the workshop start time.
There will be a 1/2 hour break at mid point of the workshop. You may bring your own food or order in.
