Students will learn how to:
By the end of the class you will take home an adorable cross body bagThread a machine, fill a bobbin, sew straight lines, back stitch, replace a needle, cut out a pattern, use fusible fleece, interfacing, make a pocket, attach a velcro closure, and sew a boxed corner to create volume in your bag.
Basic sewing tools and a sewing machine are provided for use during the workshop.
Materials Kit Fee contains the following supplies to make one tote Fusible Fleece, Fusible Interfacing, and Bag Strapping

This 3.5 hour workshop is sewing instructor led with a fee of $70 plus a materials kit fee of $25 plus sales tax.
The workshop fee is paid at the time of reservation here on our website and the materials kit fee is paid upon your arrival the day of class.
There is a 5% discount on all sewing tools sold at The Artisans' Workbench the day of class. This is a nice bonus to allow you to go home and start sewing! You can also buy your sewing machine used in the class!
Please wear closed toed shoes, keep long hair away from face, no loose sleeves and bring eyewear needed for close up work if necessary to see. We provide protective eyewear if needed. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the workshop start time.
