You may choose one of the five combinations of pieces below on the day of the workshop.
#1 Make three cuffs using copper, aluminum, and a strip of silver for one embellishment. Cuff widths vary depending on style you choose. Length is 6" each
#2 Make three various widths of sterling silver cuffs with all three totaling 1 1/4" wide with a length of 6".
#3 Make a pair of sterling silver earrings 3/4" X 2" with sterling silver earwires, a 1"pendant, and a 1/2" X 6" cuff.
#4 Make three pairs of earrings with over 200 Patterns and shapes to choose from. One pair will be sterling silver, and the others can be brass or copper. For an up-charge you can create 3 pairs of sterling silver earrings. Earwires are provided in your choice of sterling silver or surgical steel.
#5 Replace one item in the offers above with a sterling silver or copper cigar band ring.

This workshop introduces the maker to a variety of tools and techniques dependent on the design you choose. Professional shear for cutting your desired shapes, texture plates and a rolling mill for unique texture designs, disk cutters or pancake dies and an electric 20 ton hydraulic press for cutting your desired shapes, riveting for cold connections, and annealing to prepare your metal for texturing and forming with various tools. Finishing techniques will include filing and using a Jool Tool or Flex-Shaft for smooth metal edges, patina, buffing, and more.
This 5 hour workshop plus 30 minute break for lunch is Artisan Instructor led with a fee of $90 per person plus a materials kit fee of $45 - $75 plus sales tax. The fee varies with your chosen projects. The methods are almost identical for each choice just the shapes change.
Chain or leather cord for pendant sold separately and price varies with style and length chosen. You may use a chain or cord you already have and bring it with you to the workshop.
The workshop fee is paid at the time of reservation and the materials kit fee is paid upon your arrival the day of class.
Please wear closed toed shoes, keep long hair away from face, no loose sleeves and bring eyewear needed for close up work if necessary to see. We provide protective eyewear if needed and ear protection if needed.

There will be a 1/2 hour break at mid point of the workshop. You may bring your own food and drinks (my insurance company has declared my makerspaces no alcohol zones during workshops). Or I can have it catered for $13 a person.
