LEND A HAND - Breast Cancer Awareness Project October 2019

Please join us in our mission to promote breast cancer awareness in the month of October. Volunteers needed! 5 minutes to 4 hours is appreciated! Text your name and the date you’ll volunteer to 512-635-6116 or call 512-688-1587.

Our goal was to create 200 pieces of jewelry and personal mementos for donation to this cause. That has changed since we created over 100 pieces in our first two sessions!
pour new goal is 300 pieces.

Some of these volunteer-made pieces will be gifted to breast cancer warriors and survivors, and to breast cancer angels' families and friends. Other pieces will be offered in our shop and others around Georgetown and available to the public for a donation. All proceeds from these donations will go to local breast cancer warriors.

Spread the word, bring a friend! Learn something new, meet new people, and help a great cause. Every Monday and Saturday in October, 2019 11am - 3pm held at The Artisans' Workbench - 2322 N Austin Ave,  Georgetown, Texas 78626.

The Artisans' Workbench will provide all supplies and hands on instruction. If you have supplies or finished pieces you'd like to donate we will gladly accept.

Do you know a breast cancer warrior that needs a helping hand? A survivor or angels' family or friends who would treasure a memento? Let us know and we will do our best to help.

If your business or you know a business who would like to have a small counter top display and donation collection jar onsite please let us know.

Please call 512-688-1587 or 512-635-6116 with any questions or to share information with us.

I am a breast cancer survivor and will be hands on throughout this project. We appreciate you and your willingness to assist. Gaby Shultz
