We have organized a small event that will offer you the opportunity to meet a few Texas artisans including us!
These artisans were handpicked based on their desire to connect with clients and introduce their unique creations to tyou in the relaxed atmosphere of a small venue.
The event will also benefit our local veterans in the form of artisan’s contributions to Code VI Veteran Integration.
I, Gaby Shultz, Owner and Artisan, at The Artisans’ Workbench will feature one of our lines of jewerly that we also offer classes for beginners make-and-takes. There will be a couple of jewerly making demos from 11:30 - 12:30. Our behind the scenes leathersmith, AKA my Hubby, will be onsite to discuss the leather products and classes we will offer at our new location. We will also offer a few hand-knitted items by Anita Briggs that we will carry in the boutique section of our shop. We donate through our creations to local breast cancer patients and other charities. We also strive to support our local artisan community.
Alycia Tandy, Owner and Creator of all things tasty, at Do Yourself A Flavor!, will offer tasty scones and a unique coffee. Alycia is a Georgetown legend for her contribution to the community through her unique catering offerings and support of many local charities and businesses. Her warmth is evident in her food.
Gretchen Johnson, Owner and Metalsmith, at Gretchen’s Collections here in Georgetown will feature many gorgeous designs that are unique and show off her creativity. They are hand-fabricated and designed one-of-a-kind pieces in sterling silver and natural stones. Her design and art background shine in her wearable creations.
Joe Stephans, Owner and Woodsmith, at Farmhouse at Georgetown will display a few pieces from his shop. His unique, stylish one-of-a-kind furniture designs are made to order with your specs. The Farmhouse also offers tables ready to leave his showroom and delivered to you. A few of the gorgeous bowls from The Farmhouse will also be on display.
Rachel Barkley, Owner and Artisan, at Put on Love Co from Round Rock Texas will feature her handmade jewelry. She puts an emphasis on using quality and ethically sourced metals. Her designs are named after women she admires. Rachel creates to help women, children, and provide for her family while donating 10% of your purchase to CarePortal.
Jeannie Mustachia, Owner and Artisan, at Zingara Designs - Art and Jewelry From a Gypsy Soul, will make our market her first debut outside San Leon Texas. Her dream to travel the country and share her craft surfaced when she was 20 years old. Jeannie started with beading and has recently begun her journey of learning the art of metalsmithing. "I have found my medium" says Jeannie. Her raw, organic style of jewelry has a Bohemian flare. She creates each piece with love and thoughts of the the person it might adorn. Recycled copper is used in most of her designs.
Lisa Grunke-Meek, Owner and Silversmith, at Gaudy Habit will join us from Belton Texas. She was born and raised in Central Texas and has been making jewelry since 2010. She began silversmithing in 2014. "There is something so satisfying when I notice a piece of my jewelry being worn" says Lisa. She enjoys making something that can be kept in the family for generations.
